The Workforce Advantage Academy Employer is a key to the success of the program. Our employers are partners with Academy staff and teachers to provide students with job skills and work experience, at the same time providing the employer with a capable employee. By the time the student graduates, he/she should be fully trained and experienced in the particular employer's job setting. This would give the employer the opportunity to offer the student full time employment upon graduation. WAA Employers who readily embraced the Academy concept, showing a true desire to support this innovative approach to education, training and jobs include businesses in the following fields: construction, manufacturing, technology, engineering, consulting, accounting, banking, healthcare, tourism, law, and real estate.
